Bring the entire family and join Gerda in her adventures, as she persists to save her best friend Kai.  Along the way, you will meet the Enchantress, Gypsy Girl, the Rose, the Crow, and you will be treated to a grand Pas de Deux, performed by the Prince and Princess. Open yourself to the world of the Snow Queen as she reverses an age-old tragedy and brings tears of joy to an entire village.  Based on the original story by Hans Christian Andersen.

Complete with brilliant lighting and set design, custom-made costumes, versatile choreography and an original moving musical score.

The principal and supporting roles are performed by the talented professional dancers of California Contemporary Ballet and its youth company members, all of whom train and rehearse daily as part of an intensive program designed for serious dancers who wish to perform at the highest caliber.  CCB dancers perform with remarkable power and passion. Allow them to give you a memorable and moving experience as they take you on a journey to the inner realm of the Snow Queen.
